Jason Cheetham - Director

Jason Cheetham started in the finance industry as one of only a handful of mortgage brokers back in 1992 after completing a Chemistry degree at Curtin University after leaving school. But although Jason chose to study chemistry for the analytical side of things, he was & still is a people person & that field just didn't have enough social contact.

So on the advice of fellow student Matt Rigby they duly arrived in the finance world after a holiday in the North West. Jason remained a freelance broker until late 1995 after working in the Mandurah & Rockingham areas where he met & arranged a home loan for his now wife of 13 years Jodie. However the property market was very stagnant down that way back then (my how times change!) so they relocated back to Perth where it was not long before Jason took on a job as a Mobile Lender with PriorityOne home loans (now AMP Banking).

After 7 1?2 years with AMP as a mobile lender & then State Banking Manager, an opportunity came along to leave AMP & become a mortgage broker, hoping that years of dedicated service to clients would pay off & they would follow him to the broking world.

Thankfully this eventuated & Catalyst Finance Solutions started in May 2004 with Matt Rigby joining as co-director in December of that year.

Basically our aim is our motto & that is to make each & every client a “Client for Life� as we progress through life’s various stages.

With the excellent support of our staff & fellow brokers we feel privileged to be part of this industry & hope that it matures & becomes as professional as where we think it should be.
